I don't know about you, but I have an ornament exchange coming up this weekend - yikes! Luckily, I have a huge stash of zippers and two patterns of zipper ornament designs – the perfect recipe for some last minute crafting. At our ornament exchange, people can steal their favorite ornaments from others. You can see pretty quickly which ornaments are the most coveted by how often they are stolen. Secretly of course, everyone wants the ornament they brought to be the most popular - especially because that person wins a prize at the end of the night. So, the big question is - which zipper design would be the most popular? I like the classic ornament shapes from My Christmas Zips, but I think the ornaments from Zipper Christmas Cheer are especially cute. I feel like that snowflake would be pretty popular, but the snowman is cute as well. Hmm, decisions. I might make a variety of the designs, which are not only cute gifts themselves, but also as package toppers. Of course, you can also make them into jewelry as well, which would make a lovely gift. Who doesn't want to wear a festive pin this holiday season? I love all the different designs - it's hard to choose which is my favorite. I think I'm going to go with the snowman for the exchange this weekend, and then try the rest for gifting next week. Time to get crafting!
