We love to carry the perfect purse for any occasion and Summertime = floral print time! Gone are the old rules about purses having to match shoes but it is still fun to pick the right purse for your occasion and needs.

The Crossover Carry-All

The Crossover Carry-All (PDF only) is perfect for a day of shopping.  This one was made especially for use at QuiltCon and is made of an Ana Marie Horner fabric that was lightly quilted.  With its crossbody strap, it is perfect for carrying purchases and being hands free for shopping and greeting friends! The side pockets are the perfect size for a water bottle, sunglasses or your phone. The inside has a patch pocket and a Dritz magnetic snap to keep it closed.

Petite Stitched Purse

The Petite Stitched Purse can be sewn in a variety of fabrics for a different look every day!

In this example we used a cheery print called Moon Rabbit from Paintbrush Studio with a complementary print for the lining.  Darling!

This version of the Petite Stitched Purse features a Marcus Brothers fabric. Wouldn't this be cute with a denim jacket or with a black outfit?

This purse was made from Amy's Vintage Made Modern patchwork fabric and accented with embroidery.

Fabriflair® Pocketbook Wristlet

The Fabriflair Pocketbook Wristlet is another fun pattern to use with florals! We mixed a colorful array of Moda fabrics and different finishes of Dritz swivel hooks for these wristlets.

Use a different fabric for each part of the wristlet by mixing different scales of prints or try mixing florals with geometric prints or solids.

For this wristlet we used  one stunning Anna Griffin print throughout.

In-Style Suitcase Bag

We love this medium sized bag styled to look like a suitcase.  The In-Style Suitcase Bag with its larger pieces can support a larger floral print. We used Dritz D-rings to attach the handles.

Pick a pretty floral fabric and your favorite Indygo Junction purse pattern and create a new spring look!

The floral fabric for the floral wristlet is beautiful. I’d love to make this! on

Is this fabric available (the tan with florals)? I’d love to know where I could buy some!
