Art Gallery produces beautiful prints on fabrics ranging from quilting cotton, voile, rayon, denim and more. We have tried almost all their substrates and love every one of them!

Art Gallery Denim

Art Gallery's Denim Studio line has both solids and prints. Their prints are mostly on 4.5 oz denim that is barely thicker than a regular quilting cotton but with a bit more body. The extra structure in the fabric makes it great for dresses and pants. We have made our Shift Dress, as well as Katelyn's Dress in all three lengths with fabric from this collection.

 Art Gallery Voile

Voile is thinner than Art Gallery's quilting cotton. It is smooth, soft, and light making it a great fabric for almost any apparel pattern. We have used it in multiple tops including our Raglan Top and our Turn About Tank Pattern.

 Art Gallery Rayon

We've been working a lot with rayon over the last few months. We compiled a PDF of tips and tricks for working with this semisynthetic fabric. What makes the rayon from Art Gallery Fabrics special that is finer and softer than others. It also wrinkles less than cotton for easy to travel garments. Here I am in my Shift Dress with my mom, Donna in her rayon Gathered Back Top at Quilt Con!  This is the Paradise Woodlands print. This Art Gallery fabric and pattern will our Facebook Group Giveaway this week so be sure to join and enter!

Prints Perfect for Purses and Aprons

One of our favorite prints from Art Gallery is Flower Glory from Bonnie Christine's Wonderful Things line. In addition to the voile Turn About Tank above, we have also used their standard cotton to make the Crossback Reversible Apron and the Mad Money Mini Bag. This Fabric is also available in knit and would be perfect for our Slumber Party PJ pattern.

Don't Forget!

Each weekly winner will also receive a copy of Amy's Vintage Notions book and tools and notions from Dritz® including this classic tomato pin cushion.
