In honor of Bastille Day, which is Sunday, July 14th in France, I wanted to celebrate all things French in the fabric world! Michael Miller Fabrics have a lot of great French-themed collections. Two of my favorites are Paris Prepsters and Bon Appetit.
Paris Prepsters gives you all the Eiffel Tower you can want, and enough red, white and blue coordinates to deck you out for a full day of celebrations! I think it would be fun to use coordinating fabrics in the Sashay Skirt
Or, if you are planning on a soiree at home, why not decorate your house with Bon Appetit? This line is indicative of old French linens and celebrates all things food. Yum! The Bay Blanket table runner pattern would be beautiful in this line.
Quick! Get your Bastille Day celebrations sewing done and invite your friends over for a celebration of France on July 14th. Don't forget the champagne!
