MSQC Live Rayon Batik Recap

Last month Amy was on Missouri Star's weekly live event talking all about rayon batiks. Watch & learn all about sewing with this beautiful fabric.

Here is a photo of Amy and Misty Doan on set at the filming of the Facebook LIVE. Amy is wearing Katelyn's Dress in the top length in one of Kate Spain's Longitude batiks from Moda. Misty is wearing our Indygo Essentials Shift Dress.

Keep in mind this is the lace up version of our Turn About Tank- wear the "V" in the front or back!

Here are some more batiks from the Longitude Collection. They are perfect for many of our apparel patterns!

Here are some of the patterns we share in the video.

      Hi Rosemary!

We recommend buying an extra 1/8th yard to square your fabric. Have a great day!

      Rosemary on

I remember “back in time” when fabric stores cut and tore fabric so it was “on grain” and more accurate when you bought fabric. How much extra fabric should you buy to allow for tearing a thread on both ends to end up with enough fabric to make a garment?
