As the Fourth of July quickly approaches we see homes, businesses and even outfits decorated with the American flag. It seems fitting to share with you that this year the Star Spangled Banner, the flag that flew over Fort McHenry proving that the American garrison had survived the British Bombardment, and inspired Francis Scott Key to write our national anthem, is celebrating it's 200th anniversary. The fragile flag (30 x 34 feet) is currently being displayed at the National Museum of American History along with the original written lyrics to The Star Spangled Banner by Francis Scott Key. If you are looking for a way to add some American pride to your home this Fourth of July, why not make our Patriotic Pillow out of Clothworks' American Made Brand fabrics. This line of gorgeous solid fabrics has been completely produced in the U.S. The cotton was grown, woven and dyed in America. Our version of the Star Spangled Banner is 20 x 26, an average bed pillow size. The larger pillow makes a statement on a sofa or bed. The Patriotic Pillows pattern also includes the British Flag for all you Anglophiles out there!
