Adding a homespun touch to your holiday greetings? Try stitching up a one-of-a-kind Christmas card on your sewing machine.
A pretty threaded border gives a card texture and dimension -- not to mention that extra bit of thoughtfulness. Sewing on card is as easy as sewing on fabric. Secure with a backstitch and keep your stitch size small. Practice on scrap paper to check your machine tension. You can sew fabric or paper onto your card. We stitched a charming holiday image we downloaded and printed from TheVintageWorkshop.com. Check out the The Vintage Workshop blog for a free image-a-day giveaway and more inspiration for creative card making, including these festive examples.
