Single-fold or double-fold? As long as it’s bias binding, we’re not biased! Bias binding typically lines the edges of quilts, place mats, bibs and garments. Several of our patterns showcase this trim, including the Thread Ready Pincushion (IJ856), Grommet Wallet (IJ880), Best Bias Skirt (IJ835), and Binding Time Apron (IJ860). This strip is snipped on the cloth’s cross-grain, or along the diagonal line running at a 45-degree angle at the selvedge, where the fabric is most stretchable. While ready-made bias binding is widely available and inexpensive, selections are fairly limited in colors and patterns. Create your own for a custom look. Good review! This is truly the type of article that should be shared around the web. Sad on the search engines for not ranking this article higher!

Thanks so much for creating the video - the visuals really help! I just bought a bias-making tool and will revisit this video as I attempt it.
