 Protect your hands

Don't get burned when you take something hot out of the microwave!  When made with 100% cotton fabric, batting, and thread, these bowls are ingenious pot holders.  Much easier and safer to use than a traditional flat pot holder! If you slosh, the hot liquid is on the fabric, not your hand. They also work great to hold cold foods! Sew up a set to hold your ice cream bowls!

Make a chip and dip set

Make a large and small or medium holder for a chip and dip set. The large holds a whole bag of chips and the small or medium is perfect for a ramekin or bowl of dip.

A welcome hostess gift

A set makes a wonderful hostess gift.  Sew up a set in your host's favorite color or match their kitchen colors.  Have some on hand for that last minute invitation. They look great all in one fabric or mix up some prints and solids! See the printable recipe below for Amy's yummy Super Bowl Salsa!

Handy storage

Do you know someone who is constantly searching for their keys, glasses, wallet, etc? Pick out your teen's favorite novelty fabric and give them a large holder to corral stuff!

Add flair to the sports fan's space

Sew up a set in team fabrics to decorate your sports fan's office, den, or "cave"! The large one is perfect for remote controls or mail. Check out your local fabric store for your area's college and professional team fabrics.

Although we are disappointed that our Kansas City Chiefs did not make it to the Super Bowl this year we are so proud and optimistic for next year.  We are going to start sewing now and be ready for next season! With our young and very promising quarterback we see lots of Chiefs celebration parties in our future!

We had so much fun making all of these bowls and hope you do too! The fabrics are from a variety of places. We pick up cute prints we like as we are out shopping. We don’t plan to offer kits in the foreseeable future.

Happy Sewing!
