Stitcher's Garden is the second collection in my Vintage Made Modern fabric line from RJR fabrics. I have a passion for all things vintage, and this fabric line allowed me to combine my love of vintage fabric and embroidery. I designed it to be versatile for all types of sewing. You can look through the Stitcher's Garden Inspiration Sampler here. In fashion sewing, here are a few of our top selling apparel patterns created in the new collection. The Boardwalk Dress shown here features the Lilac Collage and Small Gingham Indigo prints.

I love the Meadow Plum print here for our Everyday Tank pattern.

Since Stitcher's Garden is made to feature embroidery as well, it's a great option for purses and other accessories. The Mad Money Mini Bag featured below features how you can fussy cut the Lilac Collage to feature your own stitching. We simply stitched over the daisy line art in the print using my 12-weight Crossroads Decorative thread from Sulky to add some embellishment to our bag.   Here again, we used the line art of the collage print to embellish our top selling Petite Stitched Purse pattern in the Strawberry Collage print.

It's delightful for crafts around the house, shown here with Chloe our office cat, and the Tutorial Reboot I just did for Missouri Star Quilt Company, using their Love Notes quilt block and the Indygo Junction Banded Basket pattern. I love how the fabric pairs with my Crossroads Denim fabric line shown on the basket in Eggplant.

And in the Fabriflair™ Brio Sphere! It's fun to add embroidery to these first before stitching them together, for a little extra texture and dimension.

The Collage Prints were made to be embroidered in all different ways. It's exciting to see how each person chooses to stitch this fabric, highlighting different colors and features of the print. If you'd like to learn more about the basics of embroidery, be sure to visit our YouTube channel to view my Crossroads Embroidery series where I teach the basics of hand embroidery as well as provide stitch tutorials.
