Last Spring we embarked a fun new partnership with Jo Packham of the Where Women publications. Jo was working with our friends at Riley Blake on her first fabric line, inspired by her magazine Where Women Cook. We were very excited when Jo approached us to partner with her to design some patterns for the new fabric line, Ooh La La Fresh & French. Working with Jo, we came up with three kitchen-y patterns: the Ooh La La Apron, the Bistro Bread & Wine Bags, and the Ooh La La Market Tote. These fun projects are simple to make and make great hostess gifts! The Ooh La La Apron is a classic baker style that can be tied in the back, or in the front. The pattern includes both adult and child sizes. Below you can see a version that we made using Amy's Vintage Made Modern Centennial Celebration fabric. Need a quick and easy hostess gift? The Bistro Bread and Wine Bags have you covered. You can pick up a loaf at your favorite bakery and pop it in a handmade bread sleeve. If you go the extra mile and bake your own, slip the recipe in the recipe holder pocket. Our final Where Women Create pattern is my favorite - the Ooh La La Market Tote! I always use reusable bags at the market, so this is perfect. It's even long enough to protect your baguette. This is a great pattern to feature a large print for the bag body. You can see below where we feature Amy's Fashion toss print from her Vintage Made Modern Centennial Celebration line.
