Say “ho, ho, ho!”with yo-yos. These fabric discs can add a festive touch to your Christmas crafting.  Create one-of-a-kind tree ornaments. Stitch a handful of green yo-yos together to create a funky holiday wreath.  Allow yourself to be a little elf-indulgent with our Yo-Yo Christmas Elf (IJ901). Santa’s helpers star in this holly jolly pattern from our holiday collections. You’ll swoon over these North Pole natives, built with stacked fabric yo-yos or sewn and stuffed. Each yuletide dude includes delightful details, such as a sweet embroidered smile, pointed ears and toes and gleeful garb trimmed with tiny bells.

Or try sewing one of these darling dolls of Santa, snowmen and reindeer from our Yuletide Yo-Yo's pattern. Our patterns include instructions on how to make yo-yos. You can also find yo-yo makers here on our site, along with more yo-yo patterns and our book Yo-Yo Fashions.

I made the pumpkin and loved it so I decided to try the Santa and Reindeer. As of last Christmas, I’ve made five each of the Santas, reindeer, and snowmen! The first set was for myself, the others for friends and family. I’ve since retired the pattern to the bottom of my pattern box, but they were fun to make and give…everyone loves them! Thanks for such great patterns. I MIGHT try the rabbit next…maybe the elves.
